Rainbow Scholarship

This scholarship was created in the name of our KADS ‘Grandma’ Miss Kim’s mum. She was always a huge part of the studio and before she passed, in a moment of clarity, she spoke the words… ‘I love you with all the colours of the rainbow’ The winners of this scholarship show kindness, loyalty, passion. The recipient is always a student who is loved by their fellow classmates and teachers and receive a perpetual plaque, trophy, percentage off fees and merchandise.

Rising Star Award

This award was created to recognise the star quality of one of our Junior school students each year. The winners of this award show huge dance potential, performance quality, and passion. The recipient receives a perpetual plaque and trophy.

Dance awards and scholarships from Transit Dance and Patrick School of the Arts are awarded each year. KADS recognises students who have been enrolled at KADS for 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 years.

 
 

Diploma of Teaching

The State Dance Association offers Teaching Diplomas in the 3 styles of dance - Jazz, Tap and Classical Ballet. Each style is available as a separate Diploma examination.

Student Teaching Certificate

The State Dance Association provides an opportunity for students who have completed Level 5 or are 15 years of age, to gain their Student Teaching Certificate.
