KADS Theatre Program

Thursdays 5:00 - 7:00pm in Studio 3

KADS Theatre Program is a unique opportunity to train in all things musical theatre in a two hour block of classes.  Led by a talented team of teachers—Miss Emily (Acting), Miss Lulu (Singing), and Miss Amy (Dancing)—the program fosters a positive, friendly environment where creativity and confidence can thrive.

The students are also involved in audition practice, prop making and learning about theatre rules and etiquette. Students gain invaluable experience of working towards and performing in a show in a theatre at the end of the year.

Overview of the program:

• General musical theatre skills in each genre

• Incorporating learned skills to create an end-of-year performance

• Coaching and audition experience

• Group vocal instruction including learning harmonies and voice technique

• Direction in stage etiquette and acting techniques

• Learning dance performance and utilizing established dance skills 

Students are encouraged to ‘step out of their comfort zone’ and in doing so, gain confidence and skills not only in performance, but in working with others to

achieve a wonderful outcome.

Students aged 5 and above are welcome to join the program pending availability, as places are limited.
